Javier Marquez Sanchez

Javier Sánchez Márquez (Seville, 1978), is a Spanish journalist and writer. He has worked in Madrid, San Sebastian and Seville for several media. He is currently deputy director of the magazine Cambio 16, and a frequent contributor to publications such as Esquire, The Adventure of History or Interfilms.

He has wrote the musical guides 'Bruce Springsteen. The spirit of rock' (Midons, 2005), 'Neil Young. The wild rocker' (Midons, 2005) and 'Paul Simon. The master craftsman' (Midons, 2005). He is author of the books 'Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel. Negotiations and love songs' (Millennium, 2004), 'Rat Pack. Living their way' (Almuzara, 2006) and 'Elvis. Lonely heart' (Almuzara, 2007). 'Orpheus' Party' (Alumazara, 2009) is his novel, steeped in nostalgia for the sixties' British terror , detective novels and, above all, his passion for films.

Viviendo a su manera (Almuzara, 2006) y Elvis. Corazón solitario (Almuzara, 2007). 'La fiesta de Orfeo' (Alumazara, 2009) es su primera novela, impregnada de nostalgia por el terror británico de los años sesenta, las novelas de detectives y, ante todo, su pasión por el cine.
