Alexander Mamishev

Alexander V. Mamishev graduated with Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 1999 and a minor in Technology Commercialization and Management from Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management. He is an Associate Professor and Director of Sensors, Energy, and Automation Laboratory (SEAL) in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle. Prof. Mamishev is an author of more than 100 peer-reviewed technical publications and patents. His research interests include sensor design, robotics, and energy technology applications. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award, the IEEE Outstanding Branch Advisor Award, and the UW EE Outstanding Research Advisor Award.
