A Personal Aristocracy: Cultivating the Power of Spiritual Nobility is the first book to have approached and to have been written on the subject of human spiritual nobility in the English language. It is not anything about what is commonly known as "The Nobility." This is the noun form of the word. The verb form is much different. Nobility is an holistic spiritual way of being in which our etheric and physical elements are each made as exquisite as individually possible, from our internal essence vibration to the smallest detail of our dress, every aspect of the human animal mindfully elevated to a higher state of excellence, and so converge revolution and evolution for the forward development of our species.

Few spiritual writers are willing to embark upon such a precarious path as that taken by Aristocracy, as spiritual writing in and of its nature explores the contours of formlessness and of the unmanifested, and because the material aspect has so thoroughly captivated nearly the entire attention of unenlightened conditioned consciousness, a mistrust of form pervades spiritual circles. The consideration of form is esteemed a lower order, of less purity than consideration of formlessness and therefore undeserving of exaltation. Indeed, the greatest danger facing Aristocracy is the unenlightened conclusion that identification with form is its primary message, when its primary message is that we all of us have been born into physicality, and shall remain as physicality so long as we live. How then shall we best spiritually describe this physicality, this product of the etheric portion of us expressed as form? I suggest it is with primary identification of self as infinity, and let infinity course through us and express this infinity outwardly in an exquisite embodiment.

True nobility is the spiritualization of form, rather than materialization of form. It is a spiritual act rather than an egoic one.

Nobility is a confusing word, as we have taken it to mean an estate which may only be attained to through the random accident of birth, or of parentage, or of social position, or money. Only the nobility may confer nobility unto itself. Only certain persons may become nobility. The parameters of this arrangement excludes anyone not of this formal aristocracy.

There is a second definition of nobility that was corrupted when this material plane definition was accepted as synonymous with the first by almost everybody, as it was so intended to be, and so a great confusion has arisen over this definition, which is according to lexicographers to be a human of exalted character. I have amended this definition and gilded the term with a more expansive intention, and that is to be of an exalted being. This is a nobility that must be earned through human virtue, a compassionate heart, a loving soul, and a radiant energy body, a human who attempts to attain to a purified consciousness as well as to embody the loveliest and most beautiful personal form of which their intelligence is capable.

As we extend the golden chain of our spiritual practices to our children, self-ennoblement is the opposite face we see in the mirror. Self-ennoblement is the Janus bearing a silver chain to assist and nurture the elevation of any individual human engaged in any spiritual practice, or, lacking a suitable spiritual practice, provides a ready and accessible semi-spiritual practice as a surrogate until a proper practice may be established.

A personal aristocracy permits us to become individual ambassadors to a new form of humanity, learning a new way of approaching how we define our own selves, by becoming more eloquent, by becoming more beautiful, more lyrical, more delicious, common everyday householders redefining what properly should constitute the sensory organs of the universe itself in its quest for self-awareness.

From the beginning Aristocracy was intended to be the voice of change that changes the voices of change, a book that mediates between formlessness and form to envision the silhouette of human perfection rather than its image, a possible embodiment should human kind adopt a more sublime and exalted expression. This quality, nobility, is a specific frequency or attitude that may be practiced and attained by anyone who desires to explore the limits of human spiritual potential. I invite anyone who desires to see a change in the world to become that change by building their own personal aristocracy: a life that in most instances approaches a constant state of grace by making each and every element in their lives lovely and fair.
