Alex Willis

Born in August 1966 in Glendale California, Alex grew up in an idyllic suburban environment in the canyon of Simi Valley California. By age 16 Alex was on the move, first to Salem Oregon and then to Houston Texas to finish his high school abroad education. He joined the US Army at age 18 and spent eight more years seeing the world. Married at age 21 he fathered his two oldest daugthers in 1987 and 1989 respectively and learned first hand that no one teaches men what they really need to know to be dads. Having been a soldier, a traveler, a man of great experience...he was stumped when it came to feeding and changing an infant not to mention all the things that happened afterward. Four children later, his youngest born in 2008, Alex's life experience, his interesting take on men and manhood, and his natural wit and sense of humor make this writer an entertaining read for any new or soon to be dad.

Since leaving the military, Alex has worked in Healthcare acquisitions, Emergency Medicine, Home Health, Orthopedics, Durable Medical Equipment, Manufacturing Technology, Information Technology and most recently as a Software Project Manager. He also enjoys repairing clocks, building electronic devices, writing and toys. Typical man.
