David Tearle

David Tearle is a professional engineer and businessman with commercial interests ranging from food production to high performance cars. He "retired" with his wife to England's south Devon coast to spend more time walking, boating and writing. After writing a number of features for glossy magazines he almost literally fell over the story for his first book whilst walking the South Devon coast path, and has now added "historian" to his resume! He is currently working on the next phase of the Baring banking story, "Same Old Game!" and a series of features describing troubled times as the engineering director of one of Britain's well known sports and racing car manufacturers. The "retirement" has been suspended until further notice!
