Armiger Jagoe

After attending Harvard University, Armiger Jagoe, from Gulfport, MS, served in WWII, flying 74 bombing missions in the Mediterranean area. He founded CIMA, the largest local insurance agency in Washington,DC, which he later sold to employees. In addition to his popular Joyful Catholic blog, he promotes his three current books: You Are Next in Line, Everyone's Guide for Writing Your Autobiography; Light Reading for Good and Wayward Catholics; and his memoir, Southern Boy,Growing up in the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the 1920-30s.

His latest book, I LOVE BEING OLD, is a an awakening for seniors to realize they can make best the last phase of their lives. Rather than a "how to" book, it is an account of how he has achieved this at the end of his remarkable life. He wants readers to think, "If that old codger can do it, so can I."
