John Wall Barger

John Wall Barger (1969-) was born in New York City and grew up Nova Scotia, Canada. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, The Hopkins Review, The Cincinnati Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, Poetry Ireland Review, and Best of the Best Canadian Poetry. His book of essays on poetics and film, The Elephant of Silence, came out in 2024 with LSU Press. He’s a contract editor for Frontenac House, lives in Vermont, and lectures in the Writing Program at Dartmouth College.
