Peter Limbrick

Peter Limbrick writes about transnational cinema history and theory, especially in relation to colonial and postcolonial histories and theories of gender and sexuality. Most of his recent work has centered on film and video from the Arab world. Originally from New Zealand, where he earned a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. from the University of Otago, he holds a PhD in Cinema Studies from La Trobe University, Australia and is currently Professor of Film and Digital Media at the University of California, Santa Cruz (USA).
