Shawn Sutherland

Shawn Sutherland is a graduate of Abilene Christian University. He lives in the Dallas, Texas area, where he has been involved in patent law for the past 16 years.

His articles on cults have been published by the International Cultic Studies Association and the Jonestown Institute.

He is currently at work on Barefoot Messiah of the Atomic Age, the definitive biography of Francis H. Pencovic who, prior to reinventing himself in the 1940s as messiah and cult leader Krishna Venta, had been a burglar, confidence man, convict and soldier.
