Kate Milford

Kate is the author of the Edgar Award-winning, National Book Award-nominated GREENGLASS HOUSE, as well as nine other interconnected Roaming World tales: GHOSTS OF GREENGLASS HOUSE, THE THIEF KNOT, THE RACONTEUR'S COMMONPLACE BOOK, THE BONESHAKER, THE BROKEN LANDS, THE LEFT-HANDED FATE, THE KAIROS MECHANISM, BLUECROWNE, and the forthcoming RIALTO (Clarion, April 2026). Additional forthcoming books include the SEACRITTERS graphic novel series with Lucy Bellwood (Walker, 2027), the BELIEVERS series (Stonefruit Studios, 2027), and GRAVELLE MANOR (Clarion, 2027). She has also written several plays, a couple of screenplays, and an assortment of scholarly articles on subjects as diverse as self-aware ironmongery and how to make saltwater taffy in a haunted kitchen. Originally from Annapolis, she now lives in Brooklyn.
