Matthew Eldridge

When he’s not passionately penning screenplays or novels rich in musical history, Matthew Hawk Eldridge is writing songs on his guitar or writing children's picture books under the name Matthew Hawk.

Matthew's debut novel, Saint Nicholas, the Christmas Story, made it to the #1 Best Seller for religious fiction ebooks on Amazon. His most recent project, Betty Lou Tours America, is a children's picture book collaboration with his wife, Alysha Adele. The book raises funds for the soon-to-be-built Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. Betty Lou is a real certified therapy dog from the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House. Matthew and Alysha stayed at the current house when their son was born needing multiple open heart surgeries.

Matthew earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University in 2019 and was the valedictorian, winning numerous writing awards. His emphasis was on screenplays, and rightly so--Matthew has performed on over forty film and television shows as an actor, double, musician, songwriter, and stand-in.
