About the Author
Mark Nesti joined the Australian Army in early 1987. He spent five years within 6th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment's reconnaissance/sniper cell, serving at postings in Malaysia, Thailand and the United States.
After transferring to the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, he worked as an engine/airframe/electrical technician on Iroquois, Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters over the next six years. During the latter three years he conducted post-servicing test flight operations.
After leaving the Defense Force in 1998, Mark pursued an 11-year career in emergency communication, data and messaging, as a business development manager, liaising with government emergency services and health departments.
Throughout these years, he read and pondered many issues pertaining to quantum mechanics, believing that relativistic and quantum disciplines possessed deeper, hidden connections, and that it was only a deficiency in human understanding of the full system which presented counter-intuitive or random outcomes. This belief came from a strong understanding of aerospace and communication systems, in that for every effect, there was a cause or string of causes, whether direct and obvious or indirect and hidden, perhaps even a mixture, which present themselves as a mystery.
In late 2006, Mark moonlighted as an alternative therapist, experiencing first-hand the cumulative effects of Chi in clinical work as well as practicing and evaluating different types of meditation. During this time, he was able to identify paralleling features within relativity, quantum mechanics, alternative therapies, meditation and conscious intent. This book is a description of those parallels.
"The task is not so much to see what no one yet has seen, but to think what no body yet has thought about that which everyone sees."
