Mary Farrell

Mary Farrell is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice in Auckland New Zealand. She studied Literature and Fine Art for her first degree and worked as a theatre director in the UK for several years. She trained as a psychotherapist in the 1980s. Her passion lies in tracing links between psychotherapy, film, literature, art and theatre. Acts of Trust, her first book, is a magical mix of stories, poetry and the lives of extraordinary people.
