John K. Waters

Journalist and author John K. Waters has been writing about world-wide technology trends and the companies and culture of Silicon Valley for both a tech-savvy audience and non-technical readers for more than two decades. He currently writes news and feature articles for a range of trade and mainstream publications, as well as the enterprise-tech-focused blog "WatersWorks."

His books include “The Everything Guide to Social Media,” one of the first deep dives into this world-changing phenomenon, "Blobitecture," an exploration of an architectural and industrial design trend enabled by computer software, and the original strategy guide for the blockbuster computer game “Diablo.” He also co-scripted the documentary film “Silicon Valley: A 100 Year Renaissance," which aired on PBS.
