Dan Laughey

Dan Laughey is a bestselling author, reaching the coveted #1 spot in the UK, US & Canada Kindle charts. He was born in Otley and bred in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, a hop and a skip away from the Leeds setting of his Chloe thrillers featuring no-holds-barred Detective Inspector Carl Sant. He now lives in nearby Guiseley from where he commutes to his day job as a lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, teaching a course called ‘Youth, Crime and Culture’ among other things.

As well as hard-hitting noir fiction, Dan has a track record as an academic and cultural critic. His work - including the influential monograph 'Music and Youth Culture' - has been translated into French, Hebrew, Korean and Turkish. He has lectured at international conferences and appeared on BBC and ITV News in addition to providing expert comment for national newspapers.

The novels are available to purchase in e-book, hardcover, paperback and audiobook formats on the Amazon store, and in all good libraries and bookshops worldwide. If you'd like to connect with Dan Laughey, he would be delighted to hear from you:
