Jack has great optimism and concern for the men and women of law enforcement and communities we serve. As cofounder and co-instructor of the Regional Police Academy, Leadership Academy for the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, where retired after nearly 29 years of service. His police experiences have included patrol, tactical, investigations, primary and secondary education, and professional, leadership, and organizational development. Jack holds numerous nationally recognized leadership and personal development content certifications and had the opportunity to interface with hundreds of members from various organizations around the content. The U.S. Army's University of Foreign Military and Cultural Studies (UFMCS, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas) Red Team Members Course 09-004 recently expanded his thinking horizons in ways he never imagined. The profession of law enforcement requires a relentless striving for a personal anima (inner way) which sees others as people and is rooted in integrity, buttressed by courage, and expressed as unconditional respect for all.
The basic mission of law enforcement is to build partnership with our communities and to leverage that partnership to promote safety, security, and prosperity within our communities and organization.
