David Phillips

David Phillips was born in the reclaimed fenland of West Norfolk, bordering The Wash between the estuaries of the rivers Ouse and Nene in the East of England.

He loves the countryside and writing, and he's been a writer ever since he left school in the Seventies. He has edited magazines and newspapers and written books on his great passions of fishing, Land Rovers, the countryside and local history ever since.

These days he lives and works from his cottage on the banks of the River Nene in rural East Northamptonshire and runs the Hickathrift Press indie publishing company, whose books are all available from Amazon.
