When not exploring neolithic sites, I watch and work with trees by dozing in their shade. Fiction has not been my comfort zone, I never aspired to it, but it has been a privilege to work with the hermit's timeline, landscapes and characters, a portal into another world that still resonates today. A Polish professor once told me that research was about finding and then telling the story. That may now be easier as I return to non-fiction for 'Revisiting The Celtic Way Walk - 'Bringing the Bluestones from Wales to Stonehenge' where a number of stories are waiting to be told.
