Robyn Opie

Robyn Opie Parnell is the author of 88 children's books. She has been writing for children for 14 years; most of her books are sold around the world and many have been translated into foreign languages.

When Robyn was 15, her English teacher told her that she should be a writer. Robyn went home and began work on a children's book - a mystery similar to the Nancy Drew series. Robyn's first children's books were published in 1999.

Robyn lives with her writer husband Rob Parnell, Wally (dog), Ludo (cat) and thousands of children's books.
