Ken Edwards

Ken Edwards, born in Gibraltar, migrated to the UK in his teens in 1968. His books include the poetry collections Good Science (Roof Books, 1992), eight + six (Reality Street, 2003), No Public Language: Selected Poems 1975-95 (Shearsman Books, 2006), Songbook (Shearsman Books, 2009) and Collected Poems 1975-2020 (Shearsman Books, 2021); the novels Futures (Reality Street, 1998), Country Life (Unthank Books, 2015), The Grey Area (Grand Iota, 2020) and Secret Orbit (Grand Iota, 2022); and the prose works Bardo (Knives Forks & Spoons Press, 2011), Down With Beauty (Reality Street, 2013), A book with no name (Shearsman Books, 2016) and Wild Metrics (Grand Iota, 2019). He ran the small press Reality Street (www.realitystreet.co.uk) which published more than 60 books between 1993-2016,and is now a partner in Grand Iota (www.grandiota.co.uk). After 35 years in London, he now lives with his partner Elaine in St Leonards, on the south coast of England, where he plays bass guitar with the band Afrit Nebula.
