James Gardner
After living and working in Italy, James Gardner returned to England in 1991. Since then he has mainly written historical non-fiction books. He is particularly interested in the late Victorian period. More recently he has appeared on BBC1’s “Who Do You Think You Are” talking to Richard Osman about the Brighton workhouses. He lives in a flat in Hove overlooking the Sussex County Cricket ground.
