Mary Duncan

Mary Duncan was an artist and graphic designer when not writing, and had designed each of her book covers. Her love of genealogy and history were the sparks that ignited writing about 18th century Scotland. Though not of Scottish descent, she had a deep passion for anything Scottish (with the exception of haggis).

Mary mentored teenagers from various local schools about writing. She lived with her husband on the downeast coast of Maine. Tragically, Mary passed away in August of 2011, from multiple myeloma. Her husband passed in his sleep two months prior to her death.
