Janet Lee

Janet Lee is a retired local newspaper reporter and former college lecturer of English and Creative Writing.

Born in Birmingham, she lives with her long-term partner Alex in Cannock, Staffordshire, England.

She is the proud mum of son Kevin and 'nanny Jan' to grown up Tom and Grace.

Janet is trustee of the charity Paul's Fun Fund set up in memory of her beautiful oldest son.

Having written three biographies, Janet turned her attention to writing a fun story about a dog who loves rock music. Saturday Rock Dog is inspired by Janet's failed wannabee rock star efforts - and running a local animal rescue charity for over 20 years. It can be enjoyed by children and adults.

Janet's fifth book and first full length novel, Mistress Magic, is a semi autobiographical story about life in a rock band in the 1980s, laced with magic/paranormal events and an intense love story.

Janet has also written the screenplay for Mistress Magic.

The follow-up to Mistress Magic is called In Search of Dion. Janet says she can't wait for readers to get to know its main character: the irrepressible, impossible, funny and talented Jo-Dan - who goes in search of Dion. She recommends reading Mistress Magic and In Search of Dion in that order.

Watch out for the re-launch of In Search of Dion which will be available on Amazon shortly.
