Emma Gregg

Emma Gregg is an award-winning travel journalist who writes about responsible, sustainable tourism experiences. Her interviewees to date include Sir David Attenborough, Dr Jane Goodall and other leading naturalists.

Based in the UK, Emma Gregg is a passionate advocate for low-carbon, flight-free travel by road, rail and sea.

She also champions holidays that support communities and conservation in the world's wildest places, particularly in Africa. She has visited more than twenty African countries, sampling everything from village music festivals to five-star safaris focused on gorillas, elephants and chimpanzees.

Her wider research takes her throughout Great Britain, Europe, Australia, the Americas and elsewhere. She has slept out in cabins in the Amazon, scuba dived over pristine coral reefs in Fiji, cycled along the shores of Lake Michigan, explored Australia's beautiful East Coast from top to bottom and spent five weeks on an expedition ship in Antarctica and South Georgia.

Emma Gregg's travel features on nature, culture and eco-friendly adventures appear in National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, The Times and The Independent. She is in demand as a travel photographer and is a former editor of Travel Africa magazine.
