JOHN LARKIN grew up in Lanarkshire before studying

medicine in Glasgow where he worked for many years

as a consultant physician in rheumatology and medicine.

His award-winning quirky textbook Cynical Acumen

went some way towards achieving its goal of alienating

the entire Medical Establishment. With How

for the general population. Now retired, in 2025, he has brought out

his first novel “Unravelling” on Kindle.
