David Grimstone

Davey Stone's first published story saw him placed in a major anthology alongside his hero, Discworld author Terry Pratchett, in Knights of Madness. Since then, he has sold more than a million books through companies like Disney and Penguin in the USA, Hodder and the BBC in the UK, Sony in Japan and another twenty or so prominent publishing houses around the world. His books include The Illmoor Chronicles (2003-2007), Davey Swag (2008), Gladiator Boy (2009-2010), Undead Ed (2011-2012) and The Outcasts (2016-2017). He was a guest of Disney at the 2004 Book Expo in Chicago, USA and has worked as a literary ambassador for the British Council in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has performed at the Edinburgh Festival (twice) and at Hay on Wye. He has also served as a reading champion for Booktrust and a school governor for two different primary in Kent. A former review columnist for both Interzone and SFX magazines, he now devotes a lot of time to RPG, board and video games. He lives in Ramsgate.
