Michael Dryhurst

Author Michael Dryhurst was born into a movie family. His mother was a screen extra, his father eventually became the first independent producer in the U.K. and his late brother Chris was a first assistant director. Michael Dryhurst spent 50+ years in the industry, from clapper boy to producer/director, working with international talent both on-screen and behind the camera. He is the recipient of a Golden Globe award and lives now with his wife Karen, a former movie production accountant, in rural Arkansas.
