My book, Kill the Drug Trade is in normal print, not large print as the ad states. My living was made primarily as a California trial lawyer and dispute resolution specialist, receiving the coveted Martindale Hubbell rating of A-V, the highest in both lawyering skill and professional ethics. I now devote my time to writing and through extensive research was able to publish this book about the drug scene and the nation's colossally ineffective pursuit of drug prohibition. For several years I also posted blogs on the topic and that site is still live for researchers to learn more. It's at http://www.finchdiablog.com. I first published this book in 2014 and updated it with a second edition in 2017. It describes a control system, which recognizes that jailing people for drug use has never curbed it and has merely succeeded in permanently ruining countless lives. By tolerating adult use in local, controlled dispensary programs, we could drive away the illegal peddlers and international crime organizations along with all their violence and corruption. Such a system, allowing limited purchase of pure drugs at below street prices, coupled with counseling and regulation saves lives as it has in other countries. A byproduct of the system is to reduce the ubiquitous access by minors, It is among that age group that 90% of adult addictions begin.
I live in Maricopa County, Arizona with my artistic wife of 55 years, Nancy. My time is spent mostly in reading and writing and pestering our adult sons with my wise advice.
