Bill Bowler

Bill Bowler (1957 - ) I come from London, England, although I now live, with my wife, Sue Parminter, in Spain. I began teaching English as a Foreign Language in 1983, and published my first English Language Teaching book in 1990. I write books for adult, teenage, and young learners of English. Over the years, I have co-written course books, supplementary books, resource books for teachers, and methodology books, and have also co-edited a series of graded readers. I have won two English Speaking Union Awards for my ELT writing, and have been a finalist and won a Language Learner Literature Award for my graded readers. In my work, I have travelled to fifty-nine countries, giving teacher training workshops, talks, and conference plenaries worldwide. I enjoy meeting English teachers (and English students) from around the world (face to face or online), listening to how they like to teach (and learn) English, and sharing my ideas about English teaching and learning with others.
