Hai Xin, freelance consultant, full-time dad, Hong Kong.

Worked for BNP Paribas and UBS previously, in areas of asset management, foreign exchange, equity capital markets, Hong Kong and London. Worked as a researcher at AstraZeneca and as a relief producer for current affairs programmes at the BBC World Service. Director of his own tofu factory based in Leatherhead outside London.

PhD, Imperial College, MSc, London School of Economics and BSc, University of Science and Technology of China. Adjunct associate professor of Department of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 2010.
