Xiaodong Sheldon Wang

The author Dr. Sheldon (Xiaodong) Wang has served as Chair of the McCoy School of Engineering at MSU Texas, a member of the Texas Tech University System, from 2009 to 2014, Chair of the Mechanical Engineering Tuning Committee of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) from 2010 to 2012, and Director of MSU Young Engineer Summer (YES) Camp from 2009 to 2019. The author is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas and a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). In addition to his extensive research and teaching experience in computational science and engineering with over fifty well-cited journal publications and two research monographs, the author has also five-year teaching experience as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a premier institute in applied mathematics, applied sciences, and engineering.
