Ian Mobsby

Ian Mobsby (www.ianmobsby.net) is the Woolwich Area Mission Enabler for the Diocese of Southwark and Priest-in-Charge of St Luke's Church Peckham a 'mixed economy' parish church that includes being the Prior the Wellspring new monastic community as part it. (www.stlukespeckham.co.uk). He is one of the founding members of the Moot Community in Central London in the UK (www.moot.uk.net), a new monastic, emerging and fresh expression of church based at the ancient church of St Mary Aldermary in the City of London.

Ian has past involvement in three other alt worship/emerging church communities. He is also an Associate Missioner of the Church of England Archbishop's Fresh Expressions Team, and an associate lecturer of the South East Institute for Theological Education. He is a co-opted member onto the Advisory Council of the CofE assisting the Church support and develop missional new monastic communities. Ian is a member of the Church of England's College of Evangelists and a national selector for the testing of Pioneer Ministry in the Church of England.

Ian has lectured widely and spoken on tours to the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
