Anne Crofton Dearle

I have written a series of children's book called "Silver Knight", "Ginger Cat" "The Treasure Trail" and "Penny's War". All are available in paperback. "Ginger Cat" and "The Treasure Trail" are also available as e-books. This "Zack & Zoe" series is aimed to appeal to tweenies (8-12 year olds). My Pip & Pal series are e-books written under the pen name Annie Dee. These are "Pip & Pal", "Pip & the Bank Robber" and "Hidden Treasure". My two autobiographical books are "Grannie-Annie's War" and "The Second Decade". I also write occasional travel articles for a magazine called Visa.

I am a retired teacher living in Eastbourne in East Sussex, where I run a Social History Group for the U3A and I am a reader for the local Talking Newspaper for the Blind. I am the retired Chairman of The Ashridge Circle, the largest lecture society in the country with 1800 members, and I am also a public speaker myself.

I am married to David and we celebrated our Silver Wedding in October 2011. He is my second husband and from my first husband I have two sons, one daughter and seven grandchildren.
