Hello,

Thanks for viewing my page. I'm a freelance journalist and author. The Only Friends You Need is my first novel, and I'm stupidly excited about making it available after slaving over it for two years, while the lad next door played Ed Sheeran songs at top volume, and the cats tried to delete it with their paws. So I've had a lot to overcome.

I wanted to write about friendship, because it's been so crucial to my own stability and happiness over the years, yet it's often overlooked in fiction, in favour of romance. So far, reviews have been great- so it seems readers are identifying with my imaginary friends, and I'm very grateful.

As well as working on my second novel (details soon), I write for publications such as the Daily Mail (features, not opinions, calm down everyone), The Mirror, The Guardian TV section, The Express, YOU Magazine, Cosmo, Red, and Fabulous.

I was an agony aunt for Company Magazine for years, and have written several books on sex & relationships, which you can also find on here.

I'm married to Simon, with a son at University and stepdaughters who live nearby. I'm 41, and I love my job.

Other random facts:

I am very untidy

My favourite thing to do is rummage in car boot sales

I love cooking

I love drinking wine

I have two cats, one of whom is an enormous furry bully, but I love him.

Nothing makes me happier than reading a thriller in the bath.
