Keith Marshall

My name is Keith Marshall (1949 - still going). I was born and grew up in Southport England.

Southport is a seaside holiday resort on the northwest coast of England and a haven for birdwatchers because of the Ribble Estuary, a place with many designations such a SSSI, RAMSAR and others. I have a BSc in field Biology from Lancaster University in the UK and a MSc in Restoration Ecolgy from The University of Liverpool in the UK.

For many years I had a keen interest in growing Orchids, not that my interest is deminished, but I no longer grow them as I once did. I wrote a book about how to grow them.

I also have an interest in watercolour painting, but writing now takes my interest. I have written a series of stories about a couple of archeaologists, one of whom's mobile suddenly become a time portal and they travel back to Roman Bath - Aquae Sulis - hence the title, where they help people sort their difficulties. I have written five in the series.

My other books include - MISSING - a science fiction story where the protagonist is a police officer from the future who returns to the modern day to save the life of a young woman.

The Chronicles of Terre Aureus is a children's story about a brother and sister who find themselves in a magical land where the chronicle tells of two 'off-worlders' coming to rid the land of an evil wizard.
