Sarah Lacy is a Silicon Valley journalist and entrepreneur known for actually saying what much of the tech world is thinking. She is the founder and CEO of two companies: Pando, an investigative journalism outlet covering the tech world, and Chairman Mom, a guilt-free, judgement-free, troll-free, mommy-war-free community for professional moms.
She previously was the senior editor at TechCrunch and a staff writer at BusinessWeek. She is the author of three books, "Once You’re Lucky, Twice You’re Good: The Rebirth of Silicon Valley and the Rise of Web 2.0” (Gotham, 2008), “Brilliant, Crazy, Cocky: How the Top 1% of Entrepreneurs Profit from Global Chaos” (Wiley, 2011), and the upcoming, “A Uterus Is a Feature not a Bug: The Working Woman’s Guide to Overthrowing the Patriarchy” (Harper Collins, 2017.)
She is the mother of one Disney Princess and one badass feminist warrior. She lives in San Francisco.
