Val Harris now has five novels published across a spectrum of genres: Whisky and Ginger - humorous nonsense (2007), The Siren - romantic crime (2008), Sea Creatures - a family saga (2009) and its sequel, The Song the Waves Sing (2013). They are all available as kindle and paperback editions. She recently launched her fifth novel Hunting Ground - a crime set in Africa in the Masai Mara and Nairobi (Dec 2016) - as a kindle and paperback version.
Val has lived and worked in the Middle East – Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. She also worked on a cross-cultural briefing and training programme for Africa at Farnham Castle, at Chatham House in London, and later trained and taught English as a Foreign Language in Farnham where she now lives and writes.
