Eva Thorne

Eva Thorne back in 1984, and speaking very little English, flew to the British Channel Island of Guernsey to spend a few weeks holiday there with her restaurant owning relatives.

At a dinner party one night she met her future English husband, Tony. Since her marriage, Eva has become fluent in English and when living away from Vienna, has introduced her catering skills to local friends and neighbours, as well as to her lucky husband and his relatives. Many of the recipes in this book have been enjoyed by enthusiastic and appreciative guests.

She learned to cook the traditional Viennese way from an early age, and this collection of all kinds of very tempting dishes includes some of her own creations, as well as several recipes given to her by her mother.
