Mark Liam Piggott

I’m the award-winning author of three novels, and a novelette which was praised by the New Yorker. “Fire Horses” and “Out of “Office” were published by Legend. “Jam Generation” was published by Provoco in June 2026 and my literary thriller, “Sacred Spring”, will be released by Thinkwell soon. I’ve also had short stories, poems and creative non-fiction published in anthologies, magazines and at literary websites, and received prestigious awards from the Royal Literary Fund and Authors’ Foundation. As a journalist, I’ve had hundreds of features, columns, comments and blogs published in The Times, Sunday Times, Guardian, Independent, Critic, The Author, Spectator and New Statesman, as well as in the US and Ireland. I’ve been interviewed on BBC Radio; appeared on and researched for TV; and helped a BAFTA winner write a West End show.
