Mark Liam Piggott

I’m the award-winning author of three novels, and a novelette praised by the New Yorker. “Fire Horses” and “Out of “Office” were published by Legend. “Jam Generation” was published by Provoco in June 2026 and my literary thriller, “Sacred Spring”, will be released by Thinkwell in Autumn 2026.

I’ve had short stories, poems and works of creative non-fiction published in anthologies, magazines, and literary websites, and received prestigious awards from the Royal Literary Fund, Authors’ Foundation and other organisations.

Hundreds of my features, columns, comments and blogs have been published in UK nationals including The Times, Sunday Times, Guardian, Independent, Critic, The Author, Spectator and New Statesman, as well as in the US and Ireland.

I have been interviewed on BBC Radio; appeared on and researched for TV; and once helped a BAFTA winner write a West End show.
