Jay Merson was born in West London in 19?? He grew up and spent much of his youth there and in the home counties. He has lived in Hampstead, Golders Green, Southwark, Paddington, Notting Hill and Finchley as well as In Amersham, Gerrards Cross, The Chalfonts and in Oxford. Abroad he has lived in Sicily and Spain and now lives in Thailand.
Married for 30 years, Jay is now divorced but has a lovely new lady in his life. His two grown up daughters still live in the UK. His other remaining family now live in Brighton and surrounding areas.

•Other qualifications. Holds black belts in five different martial arts.
•Previous career subjects: Military, London Fireman, Grave digger, Sales management, Debt Collector, construction, taxi driver, self-employment.
•Languages: Italian, some Sicilian, London back-slang and a smattering of Spanish.
•Likes: Full English breakfast and beer (not together though)
•Dislikes: Loud noise, ignorant and inconsiderate people.
