Dennis Apperly

I am a retired career crime journalist and have written six novels, including Wasteground and Looking For Lady which are published by Authorhouse and available on Amazon. At 68 time is limited for my one burning ambition: to get my novels published by a mainstream publisher. I have written a third in the 'wasteground series,' two crime thrillers and a second world war love story. I launched a weekly newspaper in Gloucester some years ago and organised an appeal to raise money for an impoverished community in Darfur, Sudan. I took a lorryload of much-needed supplies to the village personally with the aid of Save the Children Fund during a climate of civil war, drought, starvation and widespread unrest. (My now-defunct paper - The Gloucester Express - won an award.) My unpublished novels are available on e-mail (subject to certain conditions) and I welcome advice and/or help in getting them published and second editions of my two published works. My e-mail address is 'maryden5@btinternet.com' and my mobile number is 07785378581.
