Tim Minshall

Tim is the Dr John C Taylor Professor of Innovation, Head of the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and Fellow of Churchill College, University of Cambridge. His academic work explores links between innovation and manufacturing. He is a director of IfM Engage Ltd and Møller Institute Ltd, Non-Executive Advisor at NCC, and Chair of the Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health. He wrote Your Life is Manufactured, shortlisted for the 2025 Royal Society Science Book Award.
