Allen Edwards

My name is Allen Edwards, after retaking my English GCSE I discovered I had an interest in creative and imaginative writing, as part of my exam work, I had to write and think of short stories, it was whilst doing this I found this interest. With my newfound interest I was very spurred on to have a go at writing a book, and when the United Kingdom entered lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, like so many people who had a lot of time on their hands, I took the opportunity to write my debut novel ‘Holiday’.

I based ‘Holiday’ on my visit to Thailand, whilst the story is purely fictional, some of the characters in my book are based upon real people whom I met at my hotel.

Writing my book was in all a fun experience, I would most certainly like to write another book again in the future, as to what I would write, I haven’t decided yet.
