I was born in Liverpool, England, in 1964, where I lived up until 1990 when I moved to Bristol to work as a librarian. There I met Keith, whom I married in 1993.
I write and self-publish books for children and young adults between the ages of nine and sixteen and Keith designs my book covers. K&T Mitchell is our own small press.
Published titles:
Tempting Fake (paperback and Kindle 2023 (Young Adult age 14-17 - Social Issues and Social Media)
Episode (paperback and Kindle, 2019) Science Fiction/Science Fantasy - Children age 9-12)
Goalden Sky (paperback and Kindle, 2014) Sport/Football/Soccer - Teens
Big Brother (paperback and Kindle, 2012) Science Fiction/Horror/Ghost - Teens
Epiworld (paperback and Kindle, 2010) Science Fiction/Fantasy - Teens

I get much of my inspiration for my writing from my interests and life experiences. I am a keen Liverpool supporter and plan to write more football fiction like Goalden Girl and Goalden Sky. Epiworld and Episode were inspired by my real life experience of epilepsy with which I was diagnosed in 2000.
