David Riddell has been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 1984 and has been a teacher trainer since 1987. He has worked in academic management in three British Council schools, worked for the University of Cambridge as a CELTA Joint Chief Assessor, and designed and run management courses, both face to face and online. He has written four books - 'Teach EFL' (four editions), 'Get Ready for CELTA', 'Succeed in EFL - Continuing Professional Development', and 'As the years go by' He has a keen interest in professional development, management skills, and learner progress and loves teaching as much now as when he started. He currently works as an ELT freelance consultant, running online courses for teachers, academic managers and school owners.
