Wendy Newman

I am finally the author of a trilogy! Malavita, Too Close to the Sun, and The Shadow Side. These books have been my passion for many years and I am so excited to be able to share them with you all.

I now live in Cornwall UK, with my husband Paul and our dog Ned. I love the Cornish countryside and that's why I wanted to bring the county into my writing.

I lost my job in travel during the Covid crisis and turned instead to work as a community carer which I enjoy. Writing is my escape from what can be a harsh reality but the silver lining is that it gives me time to study people more and use more extensive character traits in my writing.
