I have always had had a deep interest in the common philosophical threads found in the mind/body/spirit model of healing. Over the years, these interests expanded my studies and work in flower remedies, comparative religions, esoteric philosophies, astrology and spirituality in medicine. For nearly twenty years I maintained a private practice in Dr. Edward Bach's famous flower remedies, and was was among the first group of Bach Flower Remedy practitioners in the US to attain a place on the Bach Foundation International Register of Practitioners. My academic education also includes undergraduate studies in psychology and a Master of Arts degree from DePaul University-Chicago, where research for my graduate thesis focused on the use of flower remedies as an adjunct therapy for eating disorders.

My passion for learning about diverse cultures and traditions is constant. Currently, in addition to my non-fiction writing, I write historical suspense and have and active international practice in Evolutionary Astrology, having apprenticed for several years under Steven Forrest, internationally celebrated astrologer and author.

My other passion is international travel and while I have been fortunate enough to visit various parts of the world, I keep my linen closet and family in the Chicago area.
