Richard Orton

My career as a writer is fledgling at best. I have always loved to write and to read so it comes naturally to do both.

I was born in a small town in Florida in 1964 where I learned of the old time charm of the South. But upon graduation from high school I joined the US Army to see the world. I did, I went to Europe and was amazed and in love with the land of my heritage. So as I always did I read and as a over of History I delved into Europe's past.

I returned to the US not only wiser but married to a lovely English girl who I am proud to still call my wife to this day after 34 years of marriage and two wonderful son's. We stayed in the military where I switched to the US Coast Guard and sailed the Caribbean sea.

I now live back in Florida and teach at a local High School and of course read and write stories, that I hope you find enjoyable.
