Geoffrey Pocock

Geoffrey Pocock has been climbing and walking in the UK and the Alps for over fifty years. During his working life he was a senior civil servant in the Ministry of Defence working in aerospace materials and structures and high energy physics. He took early retirement at fifty since when he has spent even more time indulging his passion for hill walking and long-distance alpine tours.
