Jerry's also a press officer at a museum, a journalist and non-fiction writer. He has an MA in Creative Writing from York St John University, has been a BBC Radio One newsreader and used to work in a convent.

Jerry lives in the city of York in northern England, the setting for his new (sub)urban fantasy Featherfall.
